An exhibition by reputed Chinese artist Pan Gongkai, presented to the Glass Tank by the Confucius Institute at Oxford Brookes University.
About
Pan Gongkai possesses an in-depth enthusiasm to architecture design and founded the School of Architecture at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing during his tenure as President there.
Gongkai’s architecture designs are inspired by the gesture of re-embracing of traditional Chinese aesthetics through the spatial form of Modernist and Post-modernism architecture. His artistic training introduces unique insights into his architecture design, to present an original and poetic aesthetic.
This exhibition is being accompanied by a talk and drinks reception on Thursday 06 October at 5.30 pm.
