This diverse and discursive event will launch the online platform which will form ACR20. It will display the work submitted so far. Expect a night of performance, painting, film, discussion and music!
About
The ARC project is under the editorial direction of first year students from the Critical Writing in Art and Design programme. at the Royal College of Art.
ARC began in 2004 in response to the long hiatus of the Royal College of Art’s renowned ARK magazine (1950-1978). Since its inception, ARC has produced an annual publication which has invited students and staff of the RCA, as well as practitioners outside of the institution, to respond to a proposed theme.
This year’s edition will appear in an online format. ARC 20 aspires to act as a collaborative platform and collective enterprise.
The ARC 20 online platform will host written, visual, audio, and video contributions from across the RCA. We will are also accepting proposals for site-specific works, performances, readings, screenings, and interventions for live events.
