Iona Fergusson is delighted to announce an exhibition of abstract photo-collages by Melbourne-based artist Zoe Croggon at Peckham 24, a festival showcasing experimental and contemporary photographic practices.

About

For her first exhibition in London, Melbourne-based artist Zoe Croggon presents ARC, a series of photo- collages, which demonstrate skilful and innovative psycho-geometric readings of the body in space. Working primarily with found photographs, the artist considers the relationship between the kinetic body and its surroundings, contemplating the role we play in our environment and how our surroundings inform the cadence of our lives. The body has long been a source of inspiration for Croggon. In ARC, the artist presents the trained body and modern architecture in opposition to each other: both glorifying in their rigorous avant-garde functionality and spatial presence.
