Antoinette Mohan New York, New York I worked with a range of photographs I'd taken in New York, and wanted to incorporate my textile background into my paintings. I have used a combination of stitching and vivid colours to create semi-abstract images. Colour has become an important factor in my art, as it inspires and stirs the emotions of viewers. My works are generally focused on mood and atmosphere, whilst creating a balance. AM.
