About

The Cave will be home to the next installment of the DUBIOUS MACHINE COLLECTIVE’S series of exhibitions taking place across London this year, with ANTI MATTER opening on Thursday the 16th of May. ANTI MATTER, ‘returning to simplicity, rejecting unnecessary forms while maintaining a sense of unpredictability.’ Expect to see a handful of the most exciting emerging artists from across London - featuring;

Jocelyn Aldaz

Daniel J. Fletcher

Vishal Mistry

Max Mortiboys

Mimi Nicholson

Harry Rudham.

Curation courtesy of Jacob Currid & Jonah Fried of the DUBIOUS MACHINE COLLECTIVE.

Minimalism has, in recent years, become forgotten in the vast landscape of modernity. However, the influence which it has imprinted in everyday life can never be denied, from architecture and interior design, to fashion and pop culture. Throughout ANTI MATTER we’ll return  to the essential necessities of spatiality and how we as spectators of the everyday react with the complete literal presence before us. By removing the personal, we are given a simplistic, maybe even naive, reference to nothing but the work itself - “What you see is what you see”, Frank Stella.
