Anti-fascist Footprints guided walking tour, led by David Rosenberg, teacher and educationalist Anti-fascist Footprints is a guided walking tour through the 1930s East End, from Gardiners Corner to Cable Street. This walk will also answer many questions: Who was Oswald Mosley and why did he target the Jews? What was the Jewish People's Council? Who was Phil Piratin and what did he do? What happened at Paragon Mansions? Who did what at the Battle of Cable Street on October 4th? David Rosenburg divides his working time between primary school teaching and a range of freelance activities including journalism, teaching PGCE students, work on educational projects and East End Walks. Anti-fascist Footprints guided walking tour is preceded by Anti-fascist self-learning workshop with Aesthetics of Resistance at Rivington Place at 3pm. (This must be booked separately).
