Having just completed another remarkable outside installation ‘To All At Sea’, in Anglesey, Wales, contemporary artist Anthony Garratt continues his artistic journey with a stunning exhibition of sea & landscape paintings at Thackeray Gallery, Kensington this October.

About

Anthony’s spectacular paintings have international reach, and have garnered National press with coverage shown on ITV News and BBC’s Countryfile and Coasts amongst others. Not only this, but his projects have been published expansively in many National papers including: The Times, The Telegraph, Welsh Daily Post, The Independent, The Guardian and BBC Wales, to name but a few.

The latest outdoor project ‘To All at Sea”, follows other incredible artistic & structural feats like “FOUR”, Tresco Island, Anglesey; and the award winning “High & Low”, Anglesey, each one allowing Anthony the creative freedom to think & paint big.  Following these large-scale projects, Anthony returns to his studio to distill their essence into gallery collections, so that others are able to come & enjoy them in a more manageable scale.

Anthony has created nearly 40 new & unseen works for this collection at Thackeray Gallery, some measuring as big as 1.5metres square.  We are delighted to announce that all these works will be unveiled at Thackeray Gallery, Kensington, with the artist present, at our Private View on Tuesday 8th October, 6 – 8pm.

‘Rise & Fall’, an engaging collection of new & unseen artworks, by rising star, Anthony Garratt can be viewed at THACKERAY GALLERY Est.1968, Kensington, from 8 – 25 October 2019
