Turner-Prize nominee Anthea Hamilton re-imagines Kettle’s Yard at The Hepworth Wakefield and introduces a series of her own work alongside pieces by other acclaimed international contemporary artists including: French artist Laëtitia Badaut Haussmann; British artist Nicholas Byrne; German artist Daniel Sinsel and the celebrated American photographer Robert Mapplethorpe.
New works from Hamilton include a functional cabinet and a spiral staircase, displaying objects from Kettle’s Yard; a ‘Kimono’ piece inspired by a Christopher Wood painting and large, circular mats, made in Swaziland by local artisans.
