About

We are thrilled to welcome Annabel Moeller to the Rose Paterson Art Gallery for a solo exhibition of her work.

Annabel has, over the last 30 years, built up an extraordinary body of work which documents the human condition in all its forms.   Her innate curiosity and sense of adventure has taken her to many extremes, from the glittering stages of the West End, and the House of Lords to the rugged backdrops of the Middle East.

Based in London, Annabel has built up an impressive portfolio of clients - notably English National Ballet, the House of Lords, the Royal Albert Hall, Citi Private Bank and Moet Hennessy .

Annabel Moeller spent the early years of her career working in Australia with the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Morning Herald. She photographed the first years of Australian Fashion Week and, in 2000, she collaborated with the acclaimed filmmaker Bud Greenspan for the making of his documentary of the Sydney  2000 Olympic Games.

Since returning to London in the 2007, Annabel has travelled all over the world;  she was embedded with the British Army in Basra in 2009 and subsequently joined medical teams working with the David Nott Foundation in Libya, Syria, Ukraine and Cameroon.  Other projects have taken her to Mogadishu, Afghanistan and Outer Mongolia.

She excels at portraiture and some of her famous subjects include Tom Stoppard, Barry Humphries, David Beckham, Dr David Nott (the War Doctor), David Cameron, Boris Johnson and Tony Blair.
