To celebrate Guévørk Aivazian, winner of the second edition of the Anna Morettini Prize, the AM Association is pleased to welcome you to his solo show at the Corridoio Brunelleschi, in Florence, Italy.
About
Biography
Guévørk Aivazian born in 1989, in Azerbaidjan, SSR (USSR - actual Republic of Azerbaidjan), is a French visual artist with Armenian origins. After Law and Russian studies he develops an artistic multidisciplinary approach where literature, sociology, geography and history are at the center of his research. He lives and works in Paris, France.
The Prize
The Anna Morettini Prize rewards a curious look brought by a contemporary artist on the Florentine tradition. This competition wants to encourage the candidates to reflect on the parallels between what made magnificent Florence and the contemporary world. The Anna Morettini Prize, in its 2017-2018 edition, has submitted to artists of all nationalities the theme Il Decamerone.
