Animation Spectrum

About

This exhibition is brought to you by six animators studying at Barking & Dagenham College. Drawn from their individual interests, each student has gone in a vastly different direction with their work, thus showcasing the spectrum of the animated form.

Fernando Alvarez – Controlling a robotic spider, you will be able to explore an interactive 3D sci-fi environment and complete challenges.

Tashan Cornwall – A short film, mixing 2D animated characters with a 3D environment using a combination of Maya and Adobe Animate.

Johnny Garcia – Cyberpunk 2D 360°, a true 2D VR experience set in a cyberpunk cityscape.

Nathan Carti – A short live action/animated hybrid film set in the real world, where animated characters and people co-exist.

Grant Stephens – Stop Motion/2D mix about a man, disillusioned by a mundane existence, who goes in search of meaning.

Odain Clarke – An experimental 2D animation, using inks to create a tapestry of movement while telling an engaging story.
