About

For AnimateTV, we present new works by four outstanding British filmmakers - Cordelia Swann, Sarah Wood, Thomas Hicks and Petra Freeman - that explore the world through animation, using a variety of techniques to create alternate realities. We also present Coastcards: three short films by artists Andrew Kötting, Susan Collins and Kayla Parker & Stuart Moore, that were made in response to the seaside, commissioned as part of the Sea Change initiative. Then we finish the programme with Thai artist and filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul's award-winning film A Letter To Uncle Boonmee, an element of Weerasethkul's multi-platform Primitive project.
