From the British Lion to Bunny Suicides, Korky the Cat to Simon's Cat, animals have always ispired cartoon and comic artists. This cartoon bestiary features iconic American Eagle, the Russian Bear and the financial Fat Cat as well as favourite characters such as Mickey Mouse, Wallace and Gromit, Bunny Suicides, Flook, Fred Basset, Korky the Cat, Pip, Squeak and Wilfred and Rupert Bear. Also included are wonderful joke cartoons from Punch, Private Eye, The Oldie and The Spectator. There is something for everyone with cartoons, comics and graphic novels by over 50 artists including Nick Abadzis, Steve Bell, Bestie, Peter Brookes, Cluff, Carl Giles, David Low, Mac, Matt, Nick Newman, Chris Riddell, Andy Riley, Martin Rowson, Ronald Searle, Will Spencer, Ralph Steadman, Norman Thelwell, Mike Williams and many others.
