Anecdotes from the Abyss

Over the next few weeks two artists with back pain George Finlay Ramsay & James Stephen Wright will take over the Futur.Shock social media. 

For a week they will present three or possibly more (or possibly fewer) projects, that will culminate in the premier of Anecdotes from the Abyss streamed live on Futur.Shock’s / Fold’s social media & lahmacun.hu at 7pm on Thursday the 3rd of December.
 
Anecdotes from the Abyss (2020) is a 20 minute sound piece. 
 
‘even the space between 
the teacup and the saucer has inhabitants
far more graceful
than the birds’
 
A radio broadcast from the deep. A past and future life regression. A big night out in the damp patch at the back of the house.
Starring oosdax the bone eating worm, a bisected Damien Hirst & a packet of Skips.
 
Other featured works within the Take-Over will include 
I Only Do Real Things & Great Auk Immortal.
 
I Only Do Real Things (2019) is narrated by a rock in its mother tongue - usefully subtitled - 
it plays in the parallel mirror-image universe as suggested by quantum research 
(and by a prophetic laminitic Shetland Pony based in Perthshire.)

Great Auk Immortal (in progress) is a film about giving digital immortality to the extinct sea bird, the Great Auk.
Featuring a journey to the world famous de-extinction spa.
 
James is a thing based in ♾️ worlds, it is currently doing things
of dubious importance, perhaps in the capacity of a group/swarm.
