Pamėnkalnio Gallery is pleased to announce a new solo show titled ‘Human Factor. Gardens’ by Lithuanian visual artist Andrius Erminas
About
A new installation show presented by the Lithuanian artist Andrius Erminas is part of his "Human Factor" exhibition series. The show titled "Human Factor. Gardens" explores a relationship between an individual and their environment, daily life and nature.
"Gardens" represent not only items and objects of collective gardens (a peculiar type of private property, usually in rural areas) but also the culture of gardeners in general. Affected by the human factor, these objects alter both in form and meaning.
Andrius Erminas (b. 1971) is a sculpture, object and installation artist who lives and works in Vilnius.
The exhibition is made possible, in part, by the support of the Culture Ministry of Lithuania, Lithuanian Culture Council and Lithuanian Artists' Association.
