Grizedale has a long history of industry. Using sculpture and drawing, Andrea Gregson makes connections between the natural habitat, geology and archaeological traces of past industries found in the area.
About
Artist Talk 24th August 2019 1.30pm-2.30pm
Join Andrea Gregson during her exhibition which explores the link between the forest and it’s industrial past, Seeing Through the Ground, for an artist talk. The talk will start with a tour of the work and an object-handling session to prompt discussion in an interactive seminar.
A specially commissioned zine about the work with a text written by Dr Lizzie Fisher, an independent curator and art historian based in Cumbria, will be available during the show.
