Ben Addison has graced Venues worldwide with the band Corduroy now it's time to see him in a different light. His first London Solo exhibition "And..Action!" shows what a talented oil painter he is.
About
'And Action' is our next Exhibition at Ben Oakley Gallery with a very accomplished oil painter Ben Addison. Many of you may know Bens' debonair presence in the band Courdroy, playing their signature Acid Jazz tunes around the globe for the last 25 years or The Boys Wonder before that. But in the background as well as treading the boards working in Fashion & the Design industry Addison has been hard at work perfecting his true love of painting. His influences like in music come from Film and TV and carry a feel-good narrative of a bygone era. Each painting is deftly finished and contain a powerful dynamic with impact.
