Shin-Hanga: New Prints for a Modern Era: Japanese Prints and Paintings from a Los Angeles Collection
A private collection of woodblock prints by key shin-hanga artists including Kawase Hasui, Ohara Koson, Charles Bartlett and Elizabeth Keith. A highlight of the exhibition are two rare watercolour paintings by Kawase Hasui. Also on view will be recent gallery acquisitions of fine 18th and 19th century ukiyo-e.
