This is a ten week introductory course which covers the theory and practice of analogue photography and darkroom practice.
About
During the course students will cover a ten week guided programme. Each week has a topic or course agenda. We begin by leaning abouit the camera..operating skills and theory behind the how its done. We then lean how to process balck and white film, then to follow up by leaning darkrroom printing techniques. Students choose their own themes interms of whta they photograph and also are encouraged to visit some of the many very excellent exhibitions currently on display in London. The course has a very limited number of places and early booking is advised. The course is taught in the artist/photographers own stuido within a thriving studio complex. Transport and location details are to be found on the Lewisham Arthouse web site www.lewishamarthouse.org.uk .Costs £100 or (£95 concessions ) and all are welcome. Minimum age is 16yrs or younger people 14 - 16y olds with the parents consent.
