About

Ana Maria Pacheco's work ranges from painting and sculpture to printmaking, and encompasses a wide variety of cultural references. For the diverse series of prints in this exhibition Pacheco has drawn from Brazilian folklore, classical myth and medieval satire to produce dramatic, highly charged images that illustrate the fine line between human comedy and tragedy.
