Part of All of this belongs to you and hosted by “conceptual politician” Giuseppe Marinetti AKA artist Joseph Young, the symposium explores through performance, sound and image the idea and meaning of Utopias in public and private life.
About
Four artist groups appearing at InTRANSIT festival 2015 perform extracts of their work and invite the audience to join in and contribute their hopes and dreams for the future. Informal, entertaining and thought provoking, the symposium will explore how letting go of your dreams might be the best way to keep them alive.
The symposium is produced by Neo Futurist Collective and continues a long-standing partnership with InTRANSIT festival that has commissioned both the premiere of “The Ballad of Skinny Lattes and Vintage Clothing”, a noise opera about gentrification at Trellick Tower in 2013 and “Revolution #10” in 2014, a public artwork about the importance of democracy, subsequently presented at the House of Commons, hosted by Caroline Lucas MP.
