A ten week course in draiwng and painting for children aged 8 - 12 yrs

About

This exciting studio based course for young people aged between 8 and 12 years provides a comprehensive introduction to 2D fine and applied arts. Young people are taught within a small informal and friendly group, and are provided with an opportunity to develop their artistic talent. Topics included are how to draw 3D objects, explore mark making, learn about colour theory, take a look at famous artists.

The course is taught by Alison Day who is an experienced tutor and former youth worker as well as being a practicing artist.

No previous experience needed, all are welcome. Students must have their own sketchbook and basic drawing/painting materials. e.g pencils, watercolour paint, a brush .

Cost for each course is £95/90 concessions
