As summer draws to a close, bring back the sun with works of sunshine and light, straight from the artist studios in Spain, Russia and the Ukraine. Igor Shipilin (Ukraine) brings a unique experience with his textured works and his sensitive sense of space in his landscapes. Vicente Romero (Spain) brings his excellent draughtsmanship and mastery of light and shadow to an array of portraiture nude still life. Romero's ladies lounge on silken sheets, gaze the sun-kissed sea draped in light chiffon or contemplate reflections of their long-haired beauty. Yuri Krotov (Russia) is a well-known name in the art circles, sealing his reputation as a leading contemporary artist with his quiet moments and impressionist themes. He captures fleeting moments - of children frolicking in the sand, the tide tickling the feet of sunbathers and the fading lights of Paris - with fluid brush strokes filled with movement and subtlety.
