rosenfeld porcini is delighted to host an evening with collaborative duo Spazio Visivo (Paolo Cavinato and Stefano Trevisi). The event will start with an interview: Arts writer Issey Scott, who recently published a review about Spazio Visivo’s exhibition for Candid Magazine Online, will lead the discussion in order to gain insight into the duo’s practice and works. The interview will be followed by a concert performed by Stefano Trevisi, which will also include video projections.

‘It is bewildering […] but at the same time one cannot help but feel compelled.’  - The WEEK, August 2015

'best combination [of architecture and art] we've seen since the excellent Sensing Spaces' - Tabish Khan, Londonist, August 2015

'we are treated to a progressive, refreshing exhibition which raises questions and awakens new ideas surrounding spatial theories and practices' – Issey Scott, Candid Magazine Online, August 2015

Spazio Visivo combines the sound compositions of Stefano Trevisi within the framework of Paolo Cavinato’s installation-scapes. Lyrical yet disconcerting, their unique world is composed from photographs, mirrors, paint, faded wallpaper, wood and strange surrealistic visions of ominous corridors, reminiscent of Paolo Cavinato’s previous life as a stage designer; whether intentionally narrative or not, this visual complexity results in a deeply immersive experience with the sound composition often emanating from a variety of hidden sources. The innate mystery dominating their installations interrogates ideas of time and space.

Issey Scott is an art world professional whose experience ranges from commercial galleries to museum work. She is a freelance art writer – currently Arts Feature writer for Candid Magazine. Scott is completing a Bachelor in Art History with a focus on spatial theory and architectural utopias at Goldsmiths, University of London.
