Photographer Anna Fox is at HOST to discuss her work, in particular her recently-published anthology, Anna Fox Photographs 1983-2007, edited by Val Williams.

About

Anna Fox, recent nominee for this year's Deutsche Börse Photography Prize, has been working in photography and video for over 20 years. Influenced by the British documentary tradition and US 'New Colourists' her first project, Workstations (first published by and exhibited at Camerawork, London in 1988), critically observed London office culture in the mid-Thatcher years. Later work documenting weekend wargames, Friendly Fire, was exhibited in the Warworks exhibition at the V&A and in the Netherlands and Canada. Fox has published several monographs of her work, the most recent, Anna Fox Photographs 1983-2007, edited by Val Williams, was published by Photoworks in 2007. An exhibition of Fox's Cockroach Diary and Other Stories, curated by Anne McNeill, is being toured by Impressions Gallery. Fox is currently Professor of Photography at University for the Creative Arts at Farnham.
