For the first of three events animating our Traces Commission projects, Katinka Bock invites other artists, artworks and experts to respond to her exhibition.
About
A selection of artist films by Katinka Bock, Fernando Castillo Sanchez, Aisha Sacha John, Guillaume Leblon, Ulla von Brandenburg, Virginie Yassef and Julien Prévieux will animate the intersection between sculpture and choreography. Dance artist Andrea Buckley will respond to Bock’s work with improvised movement; and Bock will talk about her project.
The Traces Commissions launches a new approach to our visual arts programme by giving international visual artists an opportunity to make new work resulting from their extended encounter with the choreographic practices that enliven our spaces.
