An exclusive tour of the new Tomasso Brothers Fine Art gallery in St James’s, followed by a European sparkling wine tasting led by wine expert Steve Weids.
About
Join Apollo Collector Services for a private tour of the new Tomasso Brothers Fine Art gallery in St James’s. Established in 1993, the gallery has since become recognised internationally for its important European sculpture from the early Renaissance to the neoclassical period. Dino Tomasso will discuss works by artists including Antonio Canova and Giambologna, and offer tips on buying sculpture – what to look out for, what to avoid, and how to build an antiquities and Old Master collection.
For the second part of the evening, we will be joined by wine expert Steve Weids from Atlas Fine Wines, who has personally selected three sparkling wines that demonstrate the differences between European countries. How do soil, climate, and wine-making techniques affect taste? Steve will also address good wine-buying and collecting practices.
