On the occasion of the 110th birthday of Charles Eames, the museum, entitled "An Eames Celebration", presents a whole series of exhibitions and events that present the work of the legendary designer couple as comprehensively as never before.

Charles and Ray Eames are among the most influential designers of the 20th century. With their furniture, films, books, exhibitions and media installations, they shaped our everyday culture and influence generations of designers to this day.The exhibition "The World of Charles & Ray Eames" in the main building of the Vitra Design Museum is the center of this Eames season. Designed as a major retrospective, she presents the many facets of the work of Charles & Ray Eames and includes loan collections from around the world.
