An Artist Talk with Amadour on their Debut Solo Exhibition Prajñā Tree. The United Nations Association of Los Angeles invites you to a conversation with artist Amadour on native flora of the American West Coast and regional climate awareness.


As part of the UN’s Sustainability Goals, Amadour will go in-depth on the remarkable abilities of species including the Coast Live Oak, Bristlecone Pine, and Pando forest. In addition to how these organisms are being impacted by climate change. 

This talk will be hosted in-person at Athenessa Gallery and on zoom. 

Refreshments will be provided.

Amadour (b. 1995 in Sparks, Nevada; Lives and works in Los Angeles and New York City) received dual BA degrees in studio art and art history from the University of California, Los Angeles. Recent group exhibitions include Black and White at Site: Brooklyn, New York; Tailgate at Monte Vista Projects, Los Angeles; P.A.L.M.A. at Who Is Seen, Los Angeles; and The Cardiographs at OPaf, Los Angeles.
