The artist couple Struber and Gruber from Vienna present their art project and the model: remembrance emerges together between people who live here and now.
About
This is the approach of our artistic conception and design of the memorial for the victims of the NS euthanasia in Waldniel Hostert / Mönchengladbach. The atmosphere in the cemetery area is determined by three spherical sculptures made of varnished varnished aluminum. They are plastic balls, as they like to play playing toddlers like to manufacture, but with a diameter up to 180 cm strongly enlarged. The sculptures are created in a joint process with pupils of the Europaschule Schwalmtal and artists of our house in the Foundry Anft in Drensteinfurt.
The model for the project can be seen in the current exhibition "Form, Color, Form".
The project is realized in cooperation with the Rhineland Landscape Association and the Kunsthaus Kannen.
