Bachfischer is a painter, but without canvas. Too serious, too charged, too elaborate in the preparation is the classic image carrier. The artist prefers objects made of wood or simple cardboard.

About
A handful of nuts from the trail mix bag, a single sage candy, a colorful cassette tape that stands out, or a lone key that didn't make it to the waistband. These days, SINK is full of stuff - things that normally lie around at the bottom of the bag or on the side of the disorganized desk; picked up out of a guilty conscience or inexplicable pain of separation and finally put away, for example under the sink - a kind of un-place where all the things find their home that don't really belong anywhere, that might find a use again someday, but not now, not tomorrow, actually it's unclear when. And yet there is an almost tender feeling that rises in you when you look at these leftover little objects, this immaculate walnut for example - adorable!
