Always On My Mind is an exhibition is in aid of The National Brain Appeal.
About
The show features 16 artists; Magda Archer, Gordon Beswick, Sasha Bowles, Nick Cave, Billy Childish, Matthew Collings, Alice Herrick, Corin Johnson, James Johnston, Francis Macdonald, Kate Murdoch, Carson Parkin-Fairley, Harry Pye, Elena-Andreea Teleaga, Twinkle Troughton and Tracey Williams.
It features 16 artists; Magda Archer, Gordon Beswick, Sasha Bowles, Nick Cave, Billy Childish, Matthew Collings, Alice Herrick, Corin Johnson, James Johnston, Francis Macdonald, Kate Murdoch, Carson Parkin-Fairley, Harry Pye, Elena-Andreea Teleaga, Twinkle Troughton and Tracey Williams.
There will be an opening party on Tuesday 26th July (6pm till 9pm) the show is then open to the public between 12pm and 6pm from Wed 27th of July to Sat 30th July. The artists have made work about their obsessions and what's going on inside their heads. There are also several tributes to Elvis Presley whose song 'Always On My Mind' was number one 50 years ago.
The artists hope to raise money for and awareness of The National Brain Appeal. Who are an organisation that raises much-needed funds for The National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery and the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology - together known as Queen Square. The National Hospital is one of the world’s leading centres for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with a wide range of neurological and neuromuscular conditions including stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, migraine and dementia.
