A collaborative pop-up exhibition from 99 Projects, in Nottinghill’s Golborne Road, with mixed media artist Dan Pearce and photographic artist Cody Burridge.
About
Altered State // A state of mind that differs from the normal state of consciousness.
When you are in an Altered State:
1. You feel like you are disconnected from the real world.
2. It can also feel like you are in a dream-like state or in a state of unreality.
The collaborative pieces showing in the exhibition have been reworked or altered; merging Dan’s mixed media art and Cody’s photography and love of illumination, combined to create an altered view or an alternative reality for the observer.
The collaborative works are a blend of photography and mixed media. Dan’s use of icons throughout his work, and the icons Cody photographed during his career, felt a natural union.
