About
One-off pop-up emerging artists event and exhibition in unique West London venue, Metresquared, just a short walk from West Kensington tube.
FREE entry and late bar until 11.30pm.
Opening at 5pm on Thursday 13th April, the evening kicks off with scheduled performances from 7.00pm, and continues with a late bar until 11.30pm. Expect an evening of cross disciplinary art that is performative in nature, from a network of UK and International graduates of UAL, Goldsmiths, Sotheby’s Institute, RCA and other London colleges.
Altered Planes brings together a group of emerging artists, from a breadth of disciplines, to form a connection and welcome in the brighter days. Subverting the space of this unique West London venue, Metre2, we present an exhibition of artworks incorporating sculpture, painting, installation and film, activated with performance throughout the evening, in a one-off event to celebrate Art and Spring. Expect plenty of surprises as we extend a branch to the larger community and offer up the floor for an open performance hour.
Curated by Eva Brá Barkardóttir and Lorraine Snape with kind thanks to Metre2.
Featuring Eva Brá Barkardóttir, Lorraine Snape, Michael Poole, Lizzie Cardozo, Simon Job, Stephen Nulty, Alexandra Errington, Julia White, Anita Agarwal, Ona Telos, Kelly Ewing, Dedéia Rocha, Iris Garagnoux, Mariam Hussein, Maryam Hina Hasnain, Alberto Maggini, Ma Konder.
