About
AKAA open dialogue and invites artists, galleries, collectors, enthusiasts, curators and art critics to contribute to the development of the art scene viewpoints: a focus on Africa but also a look of Africa on the world . Each one brings its history, its uniqueness, its vision.
African contemporary artists reverse trends and prejudices that have long been a barrier to their recognition. The look of the art world turns to lacréation contemporary Africa, a positive move which AKAA joined forces.
30 galleries and 123 artists on this release reflect international recognition of this contemporary scene that finally the place it deserves in Paris during an annual event being held this year from 11 to 13 November Carreau du Temple.
I invite the public to discover a platform that showcases the richness and diversity of contemporary art and design from Africa, uniting all those who claim that movement.
