Allison Schulnik: Dumb Phone

The Pit is pleased to present Allison Schulnik's first solo exhibition with the gallery opening on November 16 at The Pit Los Angeles. Following a noteworthy solo booth at Frieze Los Angeles in February of this year, Schulnik will present a new body of work of oil paintings, gouache on paper, ceramic vessels, and a ceramic wall installation for her first solo exhibition with The Pit. The work is a continuation of her exploration of daily moments, inspired by her childhood beach town and the Californian desert where she now lives, infused with elements of the fantastical. Paintings of her dog and backyard hang on walls across from ceramic vessels adorned with moths and unicorns.
