‘The act of choiring is a dynamic transformation. Segregated bodies unify into a louder, collective entity – no longer isolated, but interconnected despite their diversity.’ - Aliaska Abarkas
About
Centre for Sustainable Fashion (CSF) is delighted to host All the Whistlers, an interactive performative session by Aliaskar Abarkas, at London College of Fashion (LCF), University of the Arts London (UAL).
Through a performative approach rooted in alternative and communal education, this collective performance aims to create a nomadic space for experimentation and learning, exploring the social power of collective whistling, fostering community connections, and imagining possibilities of an embodied action.
We welcome all those interested in community forming, in multi-species connections, in learning otherwise and experimenting.
Following the performance, we shall continue our informal conversations around collectivity and interconnectivity while enjoying some refreshments.
The event is free and open to the public; no former skills are required to participate in the performance. Book your ticket here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/all-the-whistlers-a-collective-performance-tickets-1355186993779
