Prolific New York artist RAE BK, along with the founder of Hip-Hop, DJ KOOL HERC, will join forces this New Years Eve for an unmatched event titled, "ALL SYSTEMS GO".
About
RAE BK, known for his elaborate immersive take-overs of underutilized spaces, urban folk art paintings and assemblages and “street art” following, will present his latest exhibition All Systems Go opening New Years Eve at 99 Bowery Street, New York, NY. Accompanying the opening will be a live DJ set from legendary “Father of Hip-Hop” DJ Kool Herc, spinning an extended set of old-school beats on vinyl to ring in the new year, 2017.
With 40 new pieces of never-before-seen work from the artist, All Systems Go will be a showcase of sculptures and paintings formed from refuse and decaying materials collected from what RAE describes as the “chop shop” streets of Willetts Point in Queens NY.
