The everyday, the repetitive, the physically tangible path through the city, observing and being observed have become the subject of her artistic exploration during the residency and scholarship at the Munich Künstlerhaus. Djourina examines the elements of the lithographic process, which are reinterpreted and abstracted, the traces of their own presence, exploring the concept of territory. The Munich Künstlerhaus Foundation has being awarding a scholarship for lithography since autumn 2001. This gives artists the opportunity to work and live in the workshop of the Munich Künstlerhaus for a period of two months.
