Presenting the hugely talented Ukrainian artist Alina Maksimenko, who is recognised internationally for her large, hauntingly powerful figurative paintings.
About
Maksimenko encapsulates graceful female studies through exquisite observation. Her work explores ideas of control, transformation and the fragility of life, opening the door to an intellectually engaging world sewn with intrigue and uncertainty. Maksimenko has exhibited extensively across Ukraine, as well as in Russia and throughout Europe. Her work is included in the Museum of History of Kiev, the Museum of Modern Art, Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture.
