Overview

We are excited and honoured to announce a winter workshop from international artist Alice Morey. Morey is a London and Berlin- based interdisciplinary artist, with an MA from Chelsea College of Art, London and is represented by Lehmann + Silva gallery in Porto.

This workshop is for those artists and prospective art students who are interested in developing sculptural work; building a connection to the 2D and 3D through making with the hands. It is a unique opportunity to develop new skills or further develop your craft working alongside an international contemporary artist.

Despite the unique nature of this workshop no experience necessary, open to anyone who wants to have fun with materials, play and experiment. It would be ideal for those preparing a portfolio for art school application.

This two part workshop with Alice Morey involves collecting various found objects and materials from markets and unusual places in Berlin (turkish shops in neukolln/ asian markets/ 99 cent shop) to then combine them together ( glue/ tie them) in abstract forms, dipping them and moulding them into sculptures using plaster, wire and colours.
