'Sitting in her studio in Schöneweide sipping on a cup of tea. Our conversation drifts from describing gestures in her works lying on the stone floor in front of us; colours, patterns, marks, materials and experiments, to more intangible floaty thoughts; loosing time, fixed situations, capturing moments, the importance of making a dialogue between a finished work and the process.
It's as if every detail in her work is still undergoing a journey. Materials get exposed to acid, burned, bleached and left fighting with bacteria that will then lead to their decay.
Focusing on the wall in front of us, our thoughts become clear.
Everything that is already there, is already finished.'
