Good Poetry is Hard to Find brings together a series of 22 works on canvas by German / British artist, Alf Löhr. Painted during lockdown in 2020, at a time of great reflection for many, this new body of work invites you to reflect and respond in your own language - to write your own poetry. Painted in Löhr’s recognised abstract style using acrylic ink on canvas to present a complex interaction between colour, form and pictorial space, the 22 works in this exhibition have a uniform scale and are simply numbered rather than having individual titles that imply the author's own narrative.
