Gabriel Fine Art proudly presents two incredibly talented artists working closely together in three slightly different mediums: painting, drawing and photography.

About

Alexander Lee graduated from the Claremont School of Fine Art in Western Australia.  His professional journey with art started with detailed Pencil Drawings.

While living in Western Australia he focused mainly on the Ocean and Vineyards as motives and inspiration source to his pencil drawings and paintings. By the end of year 2010 I he went from very detailed and realistic drawing/painting to experimenting more with the abstract, Acrylic on Water Colour Paper.

In 2013 he was awarded the Leonardo 2nd Prize for Work on Paper at the Chianaciano Biennale in Tuscany, Italy. In 2015 he got an award at the London Biennale.

He is currently working and living in both Stockholm, Sweden and Salzburg, Austria. Over the years he has had a number of exhibitions, 2012-2014 being his most active years with exhibitions in London, Scheyern, Germany (Kunst im Gut), Tuscany (Chianciano Terme Biennale) Italy, Salzburg, Antwerp, Paris, Vienna, Lisbon etc.

In 2015 he aims to continue exhibiting in Europe and in 2016 he will have a solo exhibition in New York.

His Preferred style and medium is Pencil Drawings and Acrylic Paintings. His work has been sold internationally in the UK Sweden, Norway, Australia, England, Hong Kong, Germany and Austria.

Amy Oestlund was born in 1967 in Sweden and had from early years a great interest in Photography. From the age of 14, she spent a lot of time in the darkroom developing her own Black & White films and making prints.

Her professional path took a different turn and for many years Amy was working as an engineer before she in 2010 started studying Photography in Australia at Mt Lawley in Perth.

She is still working as an engineer but is now also from time to time exhibiting her photographs at different venues; for example in Stockholm Sweden (“The Barn” Skogstorp 2013 and 2014), Salzburg Austria (“Kunstlerhaus 2013”), Setubal Portugal (“Galeria Alberta” 2014) and in May this year, in London GB (“Gabriel Fine Art Gallery”). She has also been supplying images for an industrial magazine over some years.

At the moment Amy is living in Salzburg Austria.
