About

‘Turning the Season' - a photographic performance was first shown at The Wapping Project as part of a major exhibition. Alex & Alice the protagonists are captured in the final moments of the break-up of their relationship against the back-drop of British seasonal events. Originally, a photographic odyssey that unfolds over 70 evocative images, Alex&Alice - the final days has been condensed into quite literally a 15 image glimpse of the fractured emotional characters. Shot by fashion photographer Thomas Zanon-Larcher and directed by the Wapping Project's creator Jules Wright, Alex & Alice was photographed on film in a sequence of stills. The work is set within real locations and shot as if working on a movie - scenes are directed and acted and played out while Zanon-Larcher shoots the mobile performers.
