On display are new artworks by Italian artist Alessandro Busci, central figure of the 1990s emergence from Italian minimalism. Known for his informal and critical sense of line and creative use of steel weathering for depth.
The subjects depicted in Busci’s paintings collide their industrial and architectural symbolism of engineered strength with a romanticised vehemence for the natural landscape evidenced in corten steel and red impasto power stations to charred and chaotic birchwood forest.
