‘Alchemy’, a collaborative exhibition and events programme, intertwines the transformative elements of craftsmanship and nature, an alchemical union of human creativity and the dynamic, rhythmic forces inherent in the natural world.
About
‘Alchemy’, a collaborative exhibition and events programme by specialist craft gallery Thrown and greenscape, food project and sustainability hub OmVed Gardens. 'Alchemy' will intertwine the transformative elements of craftsmanship and nature, an alchemical union of human creativity and the dynamic, rhythmic forces inherent in the natural world.
Set amongst the metal-gridded glasshouse and restorative gardens of OmVed Gardens, ‘Alchemy’ brings together works in ceramics, mixed media and print-making, mixed further with events in craft, music, food and nature. This group exhibition centres around process and the artist’s ability to transform material, harness natural reactions and express our own connections to the natural world.
Featuring Kim Colebrook, Tim Copsey, Diane Griffin, Rosaline Hobley, María Ignacia Walker, Alice McCabe, Victoria Louise Meadows, Faith Mowbray, Esther Palmer and Marek Pitera.
