Judit Prieto's show is about exploring the ethereal and intangible nature of air. She was inspired to create a series of new works taking her own vision of this element, using techniques such as oil painting and linocut.
About
This exhibition is about exploring the ethereal and intangible nature of air. The subject came to the artist after her last show Water Visions. She was inspired to create new work based on the element air as she understood that the elements in her work have a connection with the four elements of the cosmos (water, air, earth and fire). Judit takes her personal vision by exploring this element through colour and form and using techniques such as oil painting and linocut.! !
In her paintings, the artist uses as a support pieces of perspex for the transparency so that each layer has different colours of oil paint that mix together without interference from the artist. This technique creates new colours and explores the possibility of the forms.! !
Her prints are the result of the exploration of colour, using controlled colours that are then blended together to create different combinations as a background to this element. ! !!!!!!
