Aktis Gallery is to host an exhibition of works by 20th century sculptor, Agustín Cárdenas.

About

Aktis Gallery is to host an exhibition of works by Agustín Cárdenas, one of the last artists to be affiliated into the Surrealist movement by André Breton and considered one of the greatest Cuban sculptors of the 20th century. The show will include works such as Little Horse (1989), Ebéne Incrusté, (1974), and Untitled (1970) that illustrate the artist’s fusion of African sculpture, abstraction and surrealism, and the breadth of his skill in bronze, marble and wood.
