About

Inspired by 19th century RBGE herbarium specimens brought from India to Edinburgh, 17th century engravings from Hortus Malabaricus and rare living specimens in South Indian forests, the exhibition marks the culmination of Bowen’s prestigious Leverhulme Research Fellowship and four-year collaboration with RBGE.
